Just a post to vent my frustrations. And I'll try not to make it long, cuz I've gotta do vectors revision, physics assignment and other what-nots. :(
I guess coming here (this school) made me learn a lot. Especially about the mindsets of the people here, the way they prioritise things, the way they define what's accepted and whats not, the way the certificate is what's most important from a competition... Why do people get involved in so many things and end up not doing anything? I'm sorry, but I can't stand it if you join some competition and call yourself a group member and not bear any responsibilities. And the physics lab project, I'm just seriously pissed because... only half the group was left to do the work? And the others were pushing the work to each other, and no one ends up doing it? Hopefully I was only PMSing that day.
And hey, get rid of your frigging ego. Why do you have to go around demoralising people? I'm not the only one who's complaining about this, so at least it isn't some kind of oversensitivity on my part. But still, I can't stand a lingering negative aura spoiling my day.
Hopefully this isn't what you'll find in places where every one's supposedly talented. Hopefully it's only a manifestation of kiasuism (really?). Perhaps you don't know it, but you're someone who'll make a bad day worse.
Doesn't everyone believe in the equality of mankind? If you're someone from NUSHS who happened to read this and are thinking that I'm referring to you, it isn't you. Because you won't be sensitive enough to know all these.
I miss AHS a lot. Perhaps I've taken everything I had there for granted. But it was really good; the people, and everything else. (You'll probably have many comments here) And there isn't anyone like you, who places yourself above the rest, pushing your responsibilities onto everyone else, and of course, thinking the the most important thing in the world is getting the credit.
Whatever happened to the joy of learning? Our education system has taken it away.
Adeline if you don't know what's this rubbish I'm talking about, I'll tell you on Saturday(:
